NEW Explore Your Environment Heritage Trails

These EYESpy Heritage Trails are fun activities for exploring some of Rochdale’s great parks, these include Balderstone Park (Rochdale Township), Harehill Park (Pennines Township) and Queens Park (Heywood Township)

Using photo clues and good observational skills to find fascinating features hidden around the park, this is a first step into map reading and orienteering.

Suitable for everyone from families to school and youth groups, there is an answer sheet and notes for the leaders and an activity photo sheet and map to download for each participant. Available to download.

These trails and maps were produced by NatureEd CIC with Funding from Rochdale Township, Heywood Township and Pennine Townships.  Packs have been given to Friends groups and libraries of each Park. Graphics by CSdesigns.
